One to one counselling psychotherapy sessions
One to one therapy holds a personal confidential space where you can explore any issues that are bothering you and be supported with these matters. The therapy room is a non-judgemental place that you can share anything freely with your therapist and explore what it is that you need in relation to this. Any issue that is blocking, bothering, or causing you distress is welcome and relevant in therapy, and we believe is deserving of support.
Couples counselling psychotherapy sessions
Addiction counselling sessions
Couples therapy offers a safe confidential place to express the difficulties you are
facing in your relationship. It can be very helpful to have a trained and experienced
professional to help you and your partner find the resolution you need. Couples
therapy can be done if you are unable to work out the problems you are facing alone,
to offer mediation in helping communicate, to improve communication between one
another, to understand each other’s needs, to address issues with intimacy, to
rebuild trust, overcome difficulties within the relationship, or even to even deal with
practical matters if the relationship has come to an end. Whatever the issue in the
relationship, we believe we can help you.
Many people are suffering from various forms of addiction today. This ranges from
drugs and alcohol to screen addictions, gaming, gambling, compulsive sexual
behaviour, love addictions, co-dependency, eating disorders, and workaholism are
the most common. Addiction counselling can help you break free from these and find
the healing you desire and we offer a safe, confidential, non-judgemental place for
you to do so.
Family Therapy
Case Management
Recovery Coaching
Interventions
Functioning well together as a family can be difficult with each individuals needs and
issues especially if one or more members of the family are facing difficulties. This
usually impacts the whole family system and often leads to dysfunction within the
family unit. Family therapy offers a safe place for each person to express themselves, to listen to and understand each other, to work out a way of communicating or functioning better, hopefully finding resolution and connection.
Case management can be highly beneficial when there is a need for a team of professionals and or family members involved in someone’s care. This can be especially helpful where there is a need for overseeing of support through different phases of someone’s journey. Also if someone needs some form of specific treatment, and there may be other people involved in their situation who also need to be involved like family members, friends or loved ones. This may involve referrals to
treatment, finding the right treatment, arranging and overseeing the treatment including updates and regular meetings with those involved to ensure the process is going as intended and preventing any potential problems that may arise through these different stages.
Recovery coaching can help where there is a need that goes beyond the limits and
boundaries of addiction counselling. Someone might require a more practical approach and more solution focused interventions to help them overcome their addiction problems. This approach is not therapy but is still therapeutic in its nature, but the emphasis is about finding solutions and receiving support in facing these matters.
Sometimes a family member or loved one may be caught up in a destructive cycle of
addiction and have isolated themselves. In times like this, an intervention can be very helpful to interrupt the cycle and offer an opportunity for the person to see sense, understand the seriousness of their situation and receive help. This may involve them going into treatment or another agreed plan but the hope is that it can prevent further crisis or heartache and allow them to find recovery.
